Many have this question. “When is it appropriate for your child to wear makeup outside the house?” There’s no specific age for any child. It just depends on you and your child to decide. But don’t forget to question them, why do they need to put on makeup? And if the answer is to impress someone, then they need to focus on gaining their own positive self-image. Makeup is for yourself, not for others. If they understand this concept, then yes, they should be allowed to wear makeup. In my opinion kids should go for minimal makeup which are made out of organic products and are natural. Buy ayurvedic makeup products from brands like just herbs or forest essentials or Ruby’s organic. They use organic & natural ingredients, parables free, not tested on animals, alcohol free & no petrochemicals. A little blush & lipstick hurts nobody.
Now coming to Why people think makeup is okay on Girls but “Weird” on Boys?
Everyone has different opinions about it but it’s one's own choice. Wear it if you like it, it has nothing to do with your gender. Makeup doesn’t take away masculinity. It’s an art of expressing yourself. Honestly I feel things are changing now, boys who want to wear it just wear it with so much confidence, there’s nothing to feel shy about. I’m inspired by artist like James Charles, Ariel Tejada, Wayne Goss who get trolled on internet for being themselves & wearing makeup but they do it with so much confidence. The world is a free place to live in and we should stop caring about humans judging us. If you’re ready to embrace what you like, be it makeup or wigs or full-on drag, Do it. Be confident, and smile at the ones who are uncomfortable, let them adjust. Live your best life, Be the person you want to be. Take the time to figure out who that is. Be good to others. And don’t forget to set your final look with a good setting spray.
